Be The Difference: YES YOU!

Today I have no fashionable information but rather informative news to share. This is a topic very deep, very sensitive....VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN. For many years I have learnt that the number of women being violated physically (emotionally aswell) has escalated to an extend that people are now living in fear. In Namibia, with news headlines like these-------->Passion killings ‘setting Namibia on fire’ the society has become unsafe for many, almost all women. Violence against women has sadly become a norm, many turn a deaf ear and most women are silent victims who in the end up die unheard. In a world with new technologies and many networks, many several Women Empowerment campaigns have been on the rise, the world is now being alerted  and a difference is being made with all the information communicated via social networks, radio, television, etc. The aim is to STOP VIOLENCE. Logically this isn't fully attainable but the little being done is slowly turning a page many nations have prayed for. The latest campaign in the Land of the Brave is the "FOR THE CAUSE" campaign. Not only does it empower women but the youth at large aswell (Today we focus on VIOLENCE) and it has set many tongues wagging (in a positive way). Dillish Mathews,Nancy Muinjo,Maria Nepembe together with our lovely minister Hon. Pendukeni Iivula-Ithana are the master mind behind this succesfull project. My wish is that every woman will stand up for themselves and what they believe in. I have a dream that the voiceless women will saved by the many empowering project all over the universe. Here are the faces behind "FOR THE CAUSE"
