Society's Comfort Zone - The Curviest Part
Hi everyone:) How curvy do you feel today? Do you feel sexy? yes? Oh yes,,I hear you say “yes” and that is a good sign. I love to empower women..I love my fellow ladies because we are so powerfull. Magnificent in so many ways,IT”S AMAZING. So to begin with,today I felt a strong urge to make you understand that it is ok to be BIG & Beautifull. I admire the confidence of a full-figured woman who can walk in a street like she is on a catwalk..That inspires me,major. My body frame is not what you can call full-figured but I have curves that I denied LOVE. The fact that I felt the need to match photoshopped pictures of women like Kate Moss and Alek Wek,made it clear that my mindset told me I cannot be beautifull with my round bum and full thighs. For some reason,society has given the impression that only petite people are acceptable,only they can be recognized and they have what it takes to be on a cover of a magazine.There is alot of pressure on women to be a certain size,,which is a size ZERO. Wait! Zero curves,,what? I think every woman has fallen victim to this and it’s really sad because when you are in a space like that personally,it is dark and you begin to neglect what really matters. it doesn’t make it any easier when you are mocked for being beautifully thick. But hey,this is not to say petite women are mean or that it’s their fault having a lil less flessh than ME,I’m not saying they should give us a chance..I’m saying GIVE YOURSELF THE CHANCE. Yes,ACCEPT that curvey part that you’ve tortured with all that dieting from Shape Magazine and learn to do exercises without thinking about losing anything and stay fit instead. Buy clothes that fit your body type..To be honest with you,I’ve never even worn a bikini but it won’t stop me to go to a pool because there is pool wear that does not expose the parts of the body that I consider “unappealing”. I haven’t exactly reached the point where I am totally confident to wear shorts but I love to speak like I am because I’d love to see more curvaciuos women BE that. I’m so proud of magazines like True Love,Cosmoplitan, just to name a few,for having thick models on their covers because it was once a dream and now it is finally reality. If you are petite,great because you can wear just about anything and I envy you(in a Positive way) and do remember to eat healthy and don’t be deceived by you frame.Sisterhood!
